Through our stories, it is our hope that we can bring the act of grieving into the open. In a world where death and grief are taboo subjects, it is important to share these real, heartfelt stories. It’s vital to allow ourselves to feel all the emotions because the only way to heal is to go through the heart of grief and all that comes with it. We all need to recognize that grief, like death, is a natural and normal part of life. It shouldn’t be hidden or ignored. It is an integral part of the complete human experience.

This is not a book that you can read in one night, in my opinion. It brought out emotions in me, even if the story of grief was not similar to mine. Its a wonderful thing to find a community who understands, even if the community is between the covers of a book. It is my understanding that there is to be a second book. I will keep an eye out for that. I feel this can be an immense help for everyone, as we all have loss and grief in our lives.  Amazon Review
